I can highly recommend the gigablue HD800SE as bedroom box mines running Vix great
is the broadcom processor in this the same one as the venton hd1?
they never mention the model of processor.
im looking for a new box for the bedroom but with the newer hardware.
the gb800's were on my list but im sure they have the older hardware in them.

ViX will be the same as your ET9000 ;)
The image it self is identical in look and operation amongst all supported receivers, barring where small hardware differences may come into play, such as blindscan etc.
i cant find much info on this but do any of these new processors support HD audio bitstreaming?
or am i looking into the wrong thing?
itd be nice to mux in the hd audio with my bluray remuxes to stream from my server.
