View Full Version : how do i connect my box to 2 tv,s ?
is it possible to connect my spiderbox 7000 to 2 different tv,s like you can do with the sly box?
What connections does it have?
Does it have RF or Scart?
as per the owner's manual it has
HDMI HD Video/Audio Output
RCA Output CVBS, L, R Output(Yellow, White, Red Jack) with Volume Control
Component Video(YPbPr) Out, SCART
SPDIF Dolby Digital Bitstream Out(Coaxal, Optical)
i am wanting to watch the channels in a different room via outside (cables)
If it doesn't have a RF loop through, you could use a scart to RF modulator.
while ive got you here sicilian, i have been using my ethernet cable to run my box but when ive taken it out to come on this site i cant watch the channels i had on my box when i put the ethernet cable back in. how would i get my services back???
Your Spiderbox needs an Ethernet connection if your using a gift patch or something.
ive put my ethernet back in but ive seemed to have lost all my channels
I never used a Spiderbox myself, have you tried re-scanning or re-booting your Spiderbox?
try to restart the box and check
i did it many times, but not luck..
i have spider box sd 5000 fixed dish.

anyone managed to get a magic eye working with scart to rf modulator??
only found this,,,,
Magic eyes are designed for other receivers, not for spiderboxes.
Thanks chris-k for looking
Just wondering if you can get 5 volts out on the vu+ like on the sly box to power the eye??
Found a bit of kit that might work Philex Omnilink + Remote Control Extender
Thanks chris-k for looking
