What Image & build are you using?
Also, can you take a screenshot of the screen so we can see what's happening?

sorry im not able to work out how to take a screen shot.is there anyway of resetting the box without losing any recordings or channels?
Recordings will be saved irrespective of any flashing etc you do as long as you do not re initialise the HDD. CHannels no but easy enough to get back up

thanks for your help but might have to give the guy a buzz who installed for me
It really is easy to set up a box, have a read of the forum and info is all there, if you need help just post up your questions.

You'ld be a lot better off learing to do this yourself.
These boxes require updating from time to time & you could save yourself some ££ by trying it yourself.
Once you've done it a few times, it really is easy.
Search for the tutorials Pheonix has been adding to the forums & try it out.
Then, just ask anywhere if you get stuck.
