View Full Version : [CrossEPG-Config] Standard Settings
Hi Guys,
Just a quick bit of advice/info if anyone can help.
Can someone please tell me what settings I should have for my EPG.
At the moment I have :
EPG Location: Media/HDD
Autorefresh Yes
Refresh every hour Yes
Refresh every (in hours) 1
Automatic save No
Is this correct ?
Basically I'm a little confused with the refreshing and saving options, so if anyone can help I'd be most grateful.
I use Autobouquet at 3.00am and the crossepg is downloaded at 4.00am.
Running on latest image (785 3.1.1)
Thanks
Scott
my epg is setup exactly as per my tutorial here, without any auto refresh options enabled.

Sorry, I meant the automatic save option...yes or no ??
Cheers again....sorry to be a pain in the a++e
Ta
Just follow the tutorial i linked to it contains my exact setup which works perfectly for me on 7 different receivers.
ok, just wasn't sure if default was yes or no......all done now
Thanks for help
autoload and autosave are NOTHING to do with CrossEPG and only if you network your boxes and share one epg.dat file between them, you you do not these setting are useless to you.
Ok Cheers Andy, that's the answer I was looking for.
Thanks to both of you for your help on this one.
On a different matter, my dad has exactly the same set up as me, but for some reason his cross epg is saved to internal flash opposed to mine saved on my hdd.
How do I change the location of the epg.dat save please ??
Once again, many thanks ...great service you're offering !!
