From the little testing i have done so for on the Ultimo it's looking really good so far mate, quite impressed and a little jealous as it's something i have always wanted to do but never found the time ( not that i possess the skills needed either ).
I'll have a word with sicilian and see about getting you access to the skinners dev section incase you need any help.
Keep up the good work.
cheers phoenix.
just another note, i havent tested this on any other image. so i dont know if it will work or not. becuase its based on vix-night-hd i dont think it will work.
Keep going buddy, looking really good. Can't wait to see what epg and channel selection are like.

your on the ball mate ive just noticed that...
i couldnt find the code for the third program, i duplicated the 2nd one so when i get the correct syntax for the third i can swap it over.
i asked about it in the skinners forum this morning, if u know how?
its easy to remove if its not possible.

There is a way to display the three events ( now, next and later ) within the EPG although i have not used it in a long time so cant remember how.

yep also using gigablue quad and working great best so far
if it was me m8, instead of the third box on the info bar maby put picon their?? just what i would think
anyway m8, looking good
where'd you get that idea from ;)
Anyone got any pictures of the EPG layout etc???
i added picon support for those who really really want it :)
YOU MUST USE OCRAMS SHD TRANSPARENT PICONS as they are bigger than normal size ones.
please install the new ipk attached and also extract the attached rar and put the xml file into /etc/enigma2

if im unable to get the 3rd bar showing the correct info soon i will make the picon style the default. I would rather have the 3 bars working though.
also here is the "current" epg screen

there has been a name change to the skin, to avoid confusion that this is an official skin.
it is just called Blue-HD (based on ViX-Night-HD) now.

will you be making these bits yellow mate to look like sky??

still the best looking sky one out at the moment, keep up the good work bud
Excellent work yet again Rossi.
One thing that I would like to change myself is the position of the picon on the infobar from right to left. Is this just a matter of changing something within the xml file in post #21? I've tried comparing the info with other xml files with the picon on the left but to be honest I haven't got a clue

hi yes its possible to move it but will require abit more than just editing the xml.
also i dont think its possible to enable the 3rd bar on my infobar as the functions dont exist in enigma2 to for it.
so ive now changed the infobars to show picon aswell.
tomorrow i'll have alot more screens/icons re-done/re-made so then i can sort them into the skin.

The skin looks better without the picons in my opinion, looks more sky authentic without.

i think it looks good with the picons init mate, even if he can do it so you can have it with picons or without as a few of my mates like it and want to use it.

Hi Rossi2000, absolutely love your skin so far, looks great on my Technomate running Vix. Any news on when you'll be releasing the new version of your skin? Really looking forward to the updates.
shortly, i will upload V2 of whats been done so far, its pretty much bang on, just a few cosmetic things to finish, changing menu screens and stuff.
i'll upload an ipk but also the skin is in my feeds so you can download it from your box. (download plugins and software updates).

on the grapghic guide it has a block saying high definition is that part of the background image or is it a block that changes when u go through the channels..
so if I was to move pointer over a standerd channel will it then say standard definition....
the block changes to which bouquet your on.

New additions to the feeds will only show once a new image build has been made, as they have to be built at the same time as the image.

this isnt the vix feeds, it is my own feed which will be available in software update and download/remove plugins
vix feeds are of no use yet as there'll be no more updates for vix3.
ive just made the ipk now which will install the skin and the feed file.
ive just brought online the feed server. and gave it a quick test. all is good.
then from there all you need to do is software update to pick up the new versions.
for now i'll leave a note on here for updates, we wont need to mess around with ipks or folders etc that way. "hopefully" :)
just testing the final things now, be about 10mins,
when your new update out mate?
yesterday bud

Does anyone know if this skin will ever be available for other images as well as OpenVix? In particular Blackhole.
Thanks.

Not unless it is adapted by the image teams for use with their images, which is unlikely in my opinion.
will they be available for all OE alliance images am talking about openatv
will they be available for all OE alliance images am talking about openatvI'm sure I've seen it in the feeds on OpenATV
yes its in the feeds for all oe-a images. BUT not all screens maybe skinned properly becuase of the differences in E2. everything on vix should be fine though
Noticed a minor issue with the skin today after updating to latest build, but guess this could be a problem in the epg rather than the skin itself

Reason I say that, is if you select a channel with a different native resolution, e.g. HD/SD, the black bar then becomes transparent and you can see channel through it.
Not tried any other skins yet to check though!
already fixed for next build
thx for reporting

Download it from the plugin feeds then activate it in the skin section. Sorry I can't be more specific I'm not near a receiver to give exact details.

I don't know if it's a bug or design issue but, main menu > information > about. And the blue HD logo is in the way of the system temperature.? Vu + solo2. Vix Apollo 157.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ah some machines show the temperature in about.
will look at moving it or removing it.
I noticed that. It only happened when more info in 'About' was added that werent there when you first did the skin rossi.
Things like python version and gstreamer have moved the info further down the screen and so now the bluehd logo which has moved is covering it.
This problem Rossi, sorry posted in wrong thread.

It should still be there, which exact image and build number and you trying from?.
It's known as OpenVix BlueHD (or something similar). It used to be just BlueHD v3 on older images but with revamp of skin coding recently, most skin names were slightly changed from what they used to be.

Hi all,
On latest Openvix build, with latest Blue-Hd skin.
Everything fine, except recordings all look mushed together, Don't fit on the screen properly.
Had a look through the menu's but can't seem to find a way to change the font size or anything.
Anybody come across this?
Cheers

Why not ?, it does not take long to skim a thread for a possible answer. people should at least try to research their problem before asking for help, or at least I would.

Hi,
Great skin. The wife won't let me change back to the old one but could I ask that a DolbyDigital marker be placed into the next update? For those of us with multi-channel receivers it really helps. Thanks and keep up the good work
