Can members post here what equipment they are using, box, dish type & size , lnb type & location roughly in Europe (ie North Yorks)
& what sats & channels they can receive (including scrambled channels)
It would be good to hear from members on here regarding satellite reception etc

Scill, have you tried Nilesat 7 west (Showtime /Orbit Package) & any channels from the Muiltichoice Africa Package (Eutelsat 36 East) with the Vu & in your location??

90cm Dish, Inverto 0.2dB Dual output LNB ,Technomate TM-2600 DiSEqC Motor , location Leicester.
Orbital 1m Dish, Technomate Gold .1db Quad output LNB, Technomate TM-2600 DiSEqC Motor, Starview HD combo non lan. 53°E to 30°W.
Used to have an Echostar 8700 D2mac - Videocrypt receiver in the 90s (lovely bit of kit that was)
1.2m dish TM 2200 Super with Inverto Black Prenium Quad LNB, fixed 60cm on Astra 28.2E
VU+ with OpenPLi, 1.1m Triax, Technomate Gold LNB and TM2600 Motor and second feed from 5x12 multiswitch on 90cm fixed dish with Quattro LNB.
90cm fixed dish 28.2, quattro LNB combined with terrestrial TV and DAB/FM aerials to 24 output Triax multiswitch. Multiplexed cables run to every room with 2 cables per room, 4 cables in lounge, 4 cables in my den. De-multiplexing outputs at cable ends giving sat/TV/FM. Cable runs combined with gigabit ethernet Netgear Dual WAN VPN Firewall router-> Cisco 10/100/1000 managed switch-> 24 x cat6 cables.
Hardware: VU+ Duo, Sly HD box (crashes on ITV HD after 20 mins) Sly+, 4 old Sly boxes of various manufacturers, USB S2 Sat tuner with T-Rex CAM and Predator s/ware (now defunct)

88 cm Motorised dish and a 'Sly' type dish for Freesat which came with the TV. TM 6800 HD Patched. Diablo CAM, not used now.
USB HDD for recording. rarely used. Set up mainly used by Grandchildren these days

How do you find the Wavefrontier dish? Signal strength/quality ok? Have you compared it to a dish on a motor?

Everything ok (from 1W to 28.2, i am from Slovenia), just 16E is a bit weaker than on my second dish (on other house) triax 88cm but that is understandable. 16E is weak satellite and dish needs to be alligned 100%. T-90 is hard to set up 100% properly.
