View Full Version : [VU+ Duo] Green light, 1 package available, but it won't upgrade

This problem occured for the first time a few days ago, but the box wouldn't upgrade. When build 160 was ready, it was 54 pacages ready for my box (i think), and it upgraded just fine, but the green light is still flashing, and theres one (empty?) package available. This is more annoying than it is a real problem, but if there's a fix, I would like to give it a go.

Telnet following command:
opkg list upgradable

Uninstall any picon packs you installed from the plugin feeds & see if that works.

Flashed it... Problem solved.

i am running 161 which was upgraded via the software updates but since then I get the flashing icon,i go to software updates then update and reboot.

Same flashing update message

opkg list upgradable - result with nothing back

But the annoying icon persists.

I am running Build 161 and it went in with no problems and that was done via software updates.

Have you done a USB flash or image restore when upgrading beyond build 153? If you didn't, then this is the reason for your problem. A software update is insufficient. Try a USB re flash without doing a restore of settings. Software updates should work fine again after that.
