View Full Version : [Rytec/RyVIX-UK XMLTV] EPG 1 hr out since clock change
Hi all, what am I doing wrong please?
using Rytec UK XMLTV on my Quad.
The quads time has correctly changed.
I've tried manually getting the epg but it's still 1 hr oout.
For instance, at 10:05 my EPG (both graphical and other one) says channel 4+1 is Everybody loves Raymond when it is in fact Fraiser.
many thanks
I am also seeing this using Crossepg

CrossEPG and Open TV 28.2 ok for me on both my Vu+ Solo2 and Vu+ Uno.
ahh bugger that again :Dnot checked mine yet but may have to format my usb and setup again to get fresh info to usb stick with correct time setting:D
You could check your time-zone setting (Setup -> System -> Time settings).

We have option to delete EPG. Youcan use that instaed of formatting USB stick.
For online sources, I'm sure you will haveto wait for the source data to be updated.
Mine seems fine now
Edit: Some channel;s fine, some still 1 hr behind.
Will delete epg.dat and redownlad when wife's finished watching her film
just deleted epg file, checked on guides, all empty.
Redowloaded it and some are still wrong, hopefully overnight they might sort themselves out.
Right now, ITV correctly says The Chase while ITV HD wrongly says Catchphrase
Re-import your Rytec providers.
This happens every time the clocks change and I still haven't figured out how to fix it.
It sorts itself out after around 6/7 days though.

It's never once happened to me over the past five years of using E2 boxes with CrossEPG on upto 9 separate receivers.

That's because Europe doesn't change its clocks till a week after ours.

The EPG data uploaded is using the old times.
Best to delete the EPG database and download again.
