I was hoping he would ;) anyone got one of these?
i would go for a dm800 clone than a tm box personally myself, tm are not having a good time with linux versions of there boxes, look at the escapade with the tm800hd boxes
The TM-5402HD is a non-linux receiver. Works well with CCcam as a client, check your pm.

no more clones for me. i had a dm600 clone and it was ok but overheated a lot. i have read more probs with dm 800 clones than the tm800 to be honest :)
audio sync probs with tm800 boxes, no audio sync issues with dm800hd boxes

I think you'll find thats all now fixed ;)
Personally steer clear from clones, I know of many dissapointed people who've had them and packed up in around 12-18 months.

take it from experience dont buy a clone ever they are s**t my dad is new to linux world and he has a clone and he is always complaining about it. but is reluctant to let me buy him a new one as he thinks they are too expensive. but i'm planning on surprising him with one. i hate his clone too
stay away from DM800 clones like your life depends on it. for a cheap cheerful E1 box go for either a TM500 or TM600.

There have been plenty of second hand tm800 on ebay for around £150/160

Would a 2nd hand tm800 be eligible for the fix from technomate?! Thought you had to provide them the receipt?! Or did I dream that?!

A 2nd hand tm800 is eligible for a fix from technomate as they have been on sale for 12 months
and will still be covered by 12 months warranty
if bought on ebay you can send them your paypal invoice
