View Full Version : watching media on another E2 receiver
I have just bought a ET10000 from sponsor, i was wondering If my LX3 would play recording from ET10000 and vice a versa, if so how can I do it
Enable NFS on both boxes.
Menu -> Setup -> System -> Network -> NFS.
Then:
Menu -> Setup -> System -> Network -> Mounts Setup -> Network Browser to find & mount any shared drives.
When in filelist mode, press yellow button for locations & pick the shared drive.
is there any way of removing shares what are not being used
I am struggling to get this to work, Golden Interstar LX3 lets me use ET10000 media, but ET10000 wont work the other way error comes up (directory/media/autofs/XPEEDLX3/does not exist), yet setup are the same in mount manager
would different software make any difference LX3 as Hades 18 ET10000 as openvix 3.2, NFS setup looks the same on both boxes
I can see ET10000 on my PC network same if I use FTP program I can see the autofs mount it creates XPEEDLX3 folder on the ET10000 but nothing in the folder, any sugestions

that's my set up, but cannot get ET10000 read from LX3 hard drive
mount settings. I use enigma 2 setting
thanks I will try that, would it be enigma 2 on both receivers
yes, I had similar issues sometime back and since I change the setting I've had no issues
I have now got it working using enigma 2 settings, but cannot get rid of XPEEDLX3 folder in autofs, no matter what I do it will not delete, any way to get rid of folder once and for all
this is my first attempt at watching from another E2 receiver, but it kept buffering is there something i can do to alter this

telnet:
init 4; sleep 10; rm -f /etc/enigma2/automounts.xml ; init 3
It eliminates this final assembly including that folder you say.
note that this will remove any mount that you have done.
Back then begin to mount as you did before.
fstab for my case is a better alternative especially when it comes to riding many folders as when NAS is used.
regards.

Hi
do I insert (init 4; sleep 10; rm -f /etc/enigma2/automounts.xml ; init 3) in the automounts.xml
is not inserted, it is open the terminal and run the order.
you would appear that folder that is recorded in that file (automounts.xml) .... the fastest way is to run a command to stop enigma2 and then delete that file when you remount is generated again (automounts. xml) so that folder should not appear again.
pueder you attach that file here?
the route is /etc/enigma2/automounts.xml
FTP download and attaching please.
excuse my English.
