View Full Version : Oscam Config
Hi,
Does anyone know where to put the Oscam Config folder on this receiver. I'm using the latest Vix build, but wherever I put the Config file - nothing happens.
Cheers.
usally in etc/tuxbox/config .Restart the box after ftp and activate oscam
Thanks everyone.
Is there a specific config file because the one i'm using isn't working :(
Does anyone have a link to a working one.
cheers
Which oscam file? Server, User or conf. You need all 3 to be configured correctly.
I think I was using the wrong ones - i'm in the process of reflashing the box as it kept crashing (i downloaded about 8 versions of OSCAM).
I think it's just the conf file I need but knowing the correct version of OSCAM to download may help too :)
cheers
files are identical for recent versions.
Make them for you here : http://kos.hdsat.pl/menu-27.html
Thanks.
So do I need to put them all into the /etc/tuxbox/config/ folder?
Download from plugins Oscam latest 1.2
thanks.
I have downloaded Oscam latest 1.2 from plugins.
my config file looks like this:

you should be able to log in via webif and add your info, doesn't look anything wrong

sorry.. not sure how to do that :(

Look at that config file. You have a http port set, use the IP of your box & that.
Using the same network go to browser and type in the ip address of your receiver ie 192.168.0.1 and put :9000 after it so looks like this 192.168.0.1:9000
Thanks for all your help today.
It was a steep learning curve for me but it's finally working :)
thanks again
