Brand New Receiver with 4 Bad Blocks - Should I be worried? Does it need to go back?

Hello All,

as above.
Just reflashed my box and on the screen I got the message 4 bad blocks - not critical. This box is barely a week old?

Is this right? Should it go back? Need to understand what the bad blocks are and the impact on the ET8550 itself.

Its only a problem if it starts changing!
Not something you should be worried, concerned, emotional about:)
Its normal, or has been on all my receivers - I think the highest was 16

All flash memory has bad blocks but as pointed out its nothing to worry about unless that number starts to increase. My solo2 has had 4 bad blocks for some thing line three years.
