View Full Version : Kodi on Vu Solo2 slow
Hi All,
So after upgrading to 17.3 Kodi, it runs like an absolute dog. It is very slow and doesn't bring up hardly any results. I only have Elysium on it so no heavy builds. I know the Solo2 is getting on now and not the best option for running Kodi, but it was working fine before 17.3.
I also have an android box and that works fine, so i don't believe it to be a speed/connection issue.
I have the latest Openvix build, checked the memory and is around 30-40% so a little high but would think still within acceptable range.
Is there anything else i can do/check?
Thanks!

Kodi on e2 receivers has always run like a dog imo. If you prefer Kodi 16 use an older image maybe?

Thanks!Hi,
Did you find any solution for this?
My experience is a very slow startup, c 15 seconds.
After that it is fine.

Kodi on e2 is a bonus, so just treat it like that. Will never be perfect.

I know. It is almost perfect and I was wondering if there is a solution.
I checked the log and there are few warnings and errors.
May be someone capable could pick from there and try to fix/improve it.
Happy with it for the moment.
I would like to avoid to add another box under my TV.
And this works.
Traditional TV is still a requirement for me
