View Full Version : LNB Unicable + switch
Hi
Can anybody know what kind of switch will be working with Unicable LNB?
Hi,
depends. Normally you do not need a switch because all tuner get their own SCR. Which LNB do you have and how many tuner do you want to feed?
I have a Quattro-LNB and an Unicable switch.

Hi, Thanks for reply.
I have two unicable LNB (2 satellite) and I wont feed 3 tuners.
3 tuners 2 boxes. One box i with two tuners so is no problem one LNB to tuner A second LNB to tuner B, but how to connect third tuner with 2 LNB's?
Scenario:
60838
Buy some splitters and then spread the scr‘s between your boxes
I think he means that the second box has only a single tuner and he wants to connect both LNB's to it.

Yes
that's exactly what it is about.
How to connect one tuner to 2 Unicable LNBs?
So, only one thing comes to mind.
It is not possible to connect a unicable LNB to a switch.
Such a switch does not exist.
Yes

How to connect one tuner to 2 Unicable LNBs?You need programmable LNBs (and a programmer to program them) and then combine them onto the one cable.
Once combined you will be able to feed all three tuners from the single cable.
Do you know what kind combiner?
And what should i program?
What frequency to use?
Can you draw me a simple schematic of a sample combiner?
Thank You
Do you have programmable LNBs? If so you will need to get a programmer from the manufacturer of the LNBs. Not cheap, as it is a professional tool.
Yes I know.
But what do you want to program and why, what combiner and do you also program combiner?
