View Full Version : HRTunerProxy Crashing
Hi
It used to work, but not since I updated the system to the latest version. I've tried removing and reinstalling the system plugin but receive the same problem.
If I try and access any of the menu or setup screen my system crashes. Crash log enclosed.

Any pointers on what to try to fix this will be appreciated.

You will have to wait for 6.0 005. There were fixes last week to make it python 3 compatible. Alternatively, install OpenATV, download the ipk from that image and save it, reflash Vix and then install downloaded ipk.
I’ll hang on for the update. Cheers.
Hi
When will the update be available?
Either download from the repo or wait for next release build
Hi
I've upgraded to 6.0 006 and the problem remains, are there additional steps required to fix?
Your issue in post #1 was fixed here: https://github.com/OpenViX/HRTunerProxy/commit/cb42ee294a69934ca5813baf733f04eb0f7bec61#diff-69484963aefeeccae401ab7508c41c777aad556f7397e127e5 ccffffca02b56f
So if you still have a crash you need to post the log so we can see what the (new) problem is.

Hmm, building from wrong repo: https://github.com/oe-alliance/oe-alliance-core/commit/dd99375dc92e786ff8c9b05a61e7cbab9524094e
Is this something I can go and manually edit or do I need to wait for the next build please?
I don't understand the reason for oe-mirrors wouldn't it have been better to push commits to the original GitHub branches?
Some plugins I can understand if the developer is no longer active

Its been changed to OpenViX git
If this is a change I can make manually ahead of the next release can you let me know the name and location of the file I need to modify please?
This is the HRTunerProxy repo as far as I'm aware...

What box are you using?
Not sure what I do with that information to allow me to resolve the problem?
All I want to know now is what my next steps are to fix my install?
If I need to wait for the next build, that’s fine. If I need to uninstall and reinstall, that’s fine. If I need to go and manually update a config file, that’s fine. I just want to know!
Well if you state your box we might have an ipk.
Sorry no package built for that box yet.
Your other option is download the files from github.
Upgrade to 6.0 007 and it's working again.
