View Full Version : HDD and 3D Channels Support
Hey All
I am searching to buy a Linux Receiver and finally I came up with VU+ Solo...
Now 2 questions left for me.
1) Does VU+ Solo support NTFS Format External HDD through USB port ?
2) Does VU+ Solo support Channels transmitted in 3D ?
Thanks

If I where you I would consider the ET5000 http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/Xtrend-ET5000-Single-Tuner-DVB-S2-HD-Enigma2-Linux-Satellite-Receiver Faster CPU, higher spec'd and cheaper. Will have a ViX image too. Runs Enigma 2 just like the VU+.
Thank you for the comments and info. All came very useful to me.
I would second the recommendation for the ET5000, for the price it is a great receiver. Also the PSU is external so you don't get extra heat on the internal electronics and with a cheap WIN NOVSA stick you have a dual tuner box at a very nice price.
I wasn't a great fan of the ET remote but now actually prefer then as the layout is very nice, you have all your channel lists, recordings at the bottom and in easy reach.
