[VU+ Duo] Red Button Single EPG?

Hi Guys,

On the latest (unstable) build 158, but just noticed that pressing the red button for Single EPG now brings up the Start Recording? option. Also pressing the yellow button for Search now starts the Timeshift option.

Is it just me, or has there been a change?

it maybe the way its set up on your box,i use vix and red button for me shows my epg,different images may do it differently.

I haven't changed anything on my box, and yes, that is the way it worked on my box until very recently. Not sure if it changed with the update to build 158?

I will check with mine after work this evening if no one else has confirmed by then, but it's not a change thats been intentionally made to the image.

Just tested on a ET9000 and red button brings up single channel EPG - works on both virgin image flash as well as online update.

You have not got something like MQB plugin installed?

I have no extra plugins installed at all, it's just the standard Vix image. As I've said, up until very recently pressing the red button brought up the single EPG for me too, but not any more. I'm not saying it's connected to the 158 update, but it's the only thing i can think of.

Just done a test several times mate and it works fine. might be worth you backing your settings up and doing a virgin flash or testing one of your other boxes if you have one.

Red button indeed brings up single EPG on all my boxes.
But yellow is wrong: brings up Audio-settings here. It turned out that a bug slipped in; this will be fixed in the next build.

PS: Now you know why the feeds were set to 'unstable'.............

Thanks for the reply.

The only way I can get a single EPG is by holding down the EPG button (long press) which brings up an extension list, where the last option (number 7) is single EPG. That gives me exactly what I used to get when I pressed the red button. As I said, what I get now is the "Start Recording?" option instead, so is there a setting somewhere that would cause this change?

Hi Rob,

Went back to an earlier saved image (build 151), red button brings up Single EPG and yellow button brings up EPG search. Allowed inage to update to unstable build 158, red button now brings up Start Recording? function and yellow button starts timeshift function.

Not a big deal, but I knew it wasn't something I'd changed, so I'll go back to the latest stable build.

Same here, red single EPG and yellow brings up Audio.

Have you made any changes in the recording menu?

Back to build 151, red and yellow buttons working perfectly, unstable updates switched off for the moment. As \i said, I have NO extra plugins, and there have been no changes made in the recording menu.

Are all of you who say it's working fine actually testing this using unstable build 158 on a Duo?

Yes, and 164 in the meantime. None of us is/was able to reproduce your red-button problem.
And the yellow-button bug has been fixed in 164.

Ok, just found out build 164 is unstable, but I donwloaded it anyway to test. However, it had made NO difference to my red and yellow button issues, still getting Start Recording? and Timeshift!

Back to 151 for me, and the red and yellow buttons work as expected!
