[MB Premium Mini] box reboots an problems with EPG: Logs attached

Your second log would indicate that you have no EPG file on your HDD and it was using your flash ROM instead. This is not a good location for the EPG. It's best on the HDD or on a USB flash drive. The log also shows you running FDISK or initialising your HDD. Can you provide more info as to what steps you were taking? After initialising the HDD you should then configure the EPG to reside on it rather than internal flash.

aye Tony!

It was a portable USB drive which failed. Now I have installed a working one.

CrossEPG is already installed in the ViX Image by default, you do not need to install any thing else.

Understood Admin.

I just do not see it in any menus. Vanished! I would not have bothered you for no good reason folks.

@pheonix - OP has another thread going where he says he can't find CrossEPG. I've pointed out to him twice where the config settings for CrossEPG are located in the menu system on ViX Apollo.

Only thing I can think of is that he has uninstalled by mistake. Maybe a fresh flash?

If he has manged to uninstall it (should not be possible though as it's tied into the core of the image), then he may be able to download it again from the feeds. or better still a fresh reflash.

Guilty I may have un-installed it!
Actually it did give me an option to un-install it. thought it was part of the Kernel, and in that case it shall not be possible.

How do I reverse it?

Who is OP?

You are OP (original poster). Do a fresh flash, please. As you were having issues with an external disk drive earlier, I would think it would be best to start clean.

OP refers to the Original post in the thread. If you have managed to uninstall CrossEPG try to reinstall it from the feeds, but best would be to reflash the image from fresh in my opinion as CrossEPG is tied into the core of the image so removing it could cause who knows what problems down the line.

If you select Uninstall Plugins the option to remove CrossEPG certainly comes up on screen, but I wouldn't have tried to uninstall it myself at any stage - too valuable!

What are the guidelines for flashing via ethernet, rather than the USB drives? Tried all sorts of USB drive, specially Kingston but no luck.

I have also been having problems with USB memory sticks not being recognised in my Duo2 I tried yesterday to do a fresh flash of Apollo28, 7 memory sticks later still no luck even USB sticks that have always worked are not recognised, tried the rear USB ports as well still no luck after pulling my hair out decided to do a couch flash
I am in the process of formatting all my USB sticks with HP Format Tool but at 30mins for a 4gig and 50mins for a 8gig I might be some time

just use the image manager to download the image you want and use the restore option to flash it.

quick format them.
it'll be fine

rossi is that with HP Format Tool I thought it would be best to do a full format of FAT32 just to be sure as I really want to do a clean USB Format and set up again from scratch as i was still getting the delayed remote action and the spinning vix sign even with a clean install of 26

In past what I have done and it worked for me is:

When the box is out of the carton, take a memory stick and format it using the PVR box. This way the file system of the USB drive "likes" the way it has been formatted.
This worked brilliant with my Amiko box.

But in Miraclebox I do not see any option of formatting with FAT/ FAT32??
