[VU+ Duo2] Missing Rytes sources...

I did a clean flash a couple of days ago and EPG was working but not today. And when I see under Sources under XMLTV Import Configuration, the only sources listed is Satmate Sky UK and Satmate Sky IT.
Is there a file that has been corrupt or something? Any file you can provide so I can copy it back? Or anyway for me to update this some other way?

Should be Rytec sources but I guess there is a time limit on my editing option....

Also, I tried to download EPG using CrossEPG but when choosing Update rytec providers, I just get a message telling me: "Cannot retrieve rytec sources", so I guess there is some server/service that is down...?

Sadly I decided to re-flash image today but also cannot get Rytec feed and hence no EPG!! Any suggestions?

Since I changed from provider this website ceased to exist. Although Scarlet should have kept this website intact for another 6 months (now 5 months)

However, the moment I knew about this I notified the devs about the changes. I created a new place for this file and gave the devs the new place.
If they do not react to it, is too bad.

Complain at OpenVIX or OpenATV.

At OpenPLi, Milo has adapted the situation.

Yes: you can grab the py from our source (see here), FTP it to your box, reboot E2 and delete the file again. Now the imprt should work.

Thanks for that. A relative newbie so need a little more help. The file I found with your link is src/XMLTVConfig.py. Which file should I FTP it to and do I open the file before pasting? I looked in the file list but couldn't find an identical file to replace. Regards

it would be easier for us, non devs, if you could give us the updated file here as I (we) don't have a Linux editor to update the pyo-file ourself. Thnx.

You can download the .py files, transfer them to the receiver. Restart, it will decompile. You then delete the .py file so that any future updates are not interfered with.

However, I could not find the path for one of the files.

Doglover was not too happy about people posting the url in a fashion easy to be seen by everyone.

You could try the XMLTV import in Cross epg. Takes ages, but seems to work in build 015.
