NEW GD-Picons - DOWNLOAD ONLY **Regularly Updated** Sat/Cable/Fsat/Fview/IPTV & more

[grantdavey91]

Hi, Everyone!

So after approximately 5 weeks or so, I have finished the COMPLETE set of LCD picons for 28.2e sat, cable, freesat, freeview + extras

These I have created, inspired by MK's brilliant picons, which can be found on Openvix.co.uk

My set includes ALL channels for Sly, Virmin, Freesat, Freeview and more

Also includes Bouquet picons and Adult sections

Tested each one by one on a Vu+ Duo 2 - No channels missing - all have the LCD picon

Also includes Sky Cinema Fairy Tales and HD which changed service name just hours ago!

See the preview video tested and working here :

As with any changes or updates, I recommend performing a backup before using

All you need to do is download the zip, extract it to your desktop or downloads folder, open your FTP client, navigate to your picon folder and ftp/drag and drop these png files over to your box.

After unzipping you are presented with one folder named : gdpicon-400x240-FULL-set-15082016

Inside that folder, are 4 sub folders entitled : Adult-Censored , Adult-Uncensored , Bouquet, Picon

Don't ftp the folders, only the png files

Choose if you want to have Adult picons, if so, choose whether you would like uncensored or censored versions - open the folder and ftp the files over.

Next, if you would like bouquet picons, open the folder and ftp the png files over to your box

and finally the last folder, Picon, open it up and select all, and ftp over to your box.

This is a follow on thread from my previous one, which can be found here :

http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?52518-grantdavey91-NEW-JULY-2016-Picons-SNP-MK-Style-VFD-Future-Channel-s-Changes

All future updates will be posted here, which will be updated regularly

All picons in this set have the very latest and current logos

I will always update picons when there is a service name change / addition or logo update

I am also open to requests, if you would like me to create a particular picon, please just ask or if you would like an alternative picon to one already included, e.g. background , this can also be arranged

Please note this pack contains adult content - if you do not wish to see or use adult picons/content, please ignore or delete the folders containing adult content - adult picons are only inside where it states adult, the normal picon and bouquet folders do not include adult content

I can't post the full preview as far too many but pack does include all channels; it has been tested but if you find one or two are not showing please let me know

Until the next update, enjoy, hope you find useful and reply to the thread below for any questions or requests!

Thanks guys

UPDATE :

Today I have gone through all 28.2e channels + cable channels to update some LCD picons to better/alternative picons, as I found that the logos on these could be visibly better, or larger (making the originals was a little rushy sometimes considering the large number of channels to work across, as the great MK knows all too well as well as myself!!)

Improved/Better/Alternative picons in this pack are :

4music
5usa
5usa+1
bbc news
bloomberg
boomerang
box hits
box upfront
cbbc
cbbchd
channel 5
channel 5+1
clubland tv
comedy central
dave
dave ja vu
disney junior
disney junior plus
high street tv
ideal extra
kiss
sky comedy hd
tlc
ump movies
universal channel
retail tv

I have also changed some logos as some channels have had a re-design of logo (I will always try to keep these as freshly updated as possible), these are :

abu dhabi tv
dm plus tv
fashion one
gems tv
glory tv
gospel channel
jewellery maker
mate national
mtv +1
news 18
nick jr too
peace tv
pece tv urdu
pop
pop+1
ptv global
studio 66 (adult channel)
studio 66 2 (adult channel)
studio 66 3 (adult channel)
the dept. store
the jewellery channel tic
the mall
tristar - incorrect
ummah channel
ummah channel +1
v channel
blaze tv
channel 44

And lastly I have fixed a few picons that were not showing on the LCD, which are :

bt showcase
chstv
vm previews

There are a few other picons in this pack which may appear as duplications but are infact also part of the fixes

FTP to your picon folder and hit overwrite if prompted, this will ensure you have the latest update without any missing picons

This post is for LCD only, SNP (epg/infobar) picons to follow

Blaze TV is launching very soon (20th September I believe) to 28.2e satellite - you can actually find this channel on 28.2e now under channel 50350 (Note, this will only appear in your bouquet for 28.2e if you have checked/enabled 'Include 'not indexed' channels in autobouquetsmaker, assuming you are using VIX (Menu > Service Searching > AutoBouquetsMaker > Configure > Include 'not indexed' channels > Yes > Back > Update Config Files > Start Scan)

On 12th September Sky Star Wars SD/HD is reverting

On 15th September, Muslim Ummah TV (28.2e) is replaced with a channel called Channel 44, included in this pack

On 19th September, channel 'Viceland' is to be launched on 28.2e, and Pick +1 is possibly coming off air

On 29th September, Channel 'Rishtey Cineplex' is going to replace UMP Movies (Picon for this is in original post on this thread)

Other changes coming soon also...

Please note there is adult content on this pack, please do not open the Adult>Uncensored folder if you do not wish to view adult content.

UPDATE

SNP 400x170 epg/infobar picons (LCD picons to follow)

some updates, mainly fixes with sizing issues, previous SNP post had 400x240 opposed to 400x170 picons, in effect standing out in the epg much bigger than the rest, apologies for this. Also some additions.

+30 more in pack

After this post, in addition to the previous post; this should in effect fully complete all LCD picons and SNP picons for 28.2e including non indexed channels, as well as virmin cable channels; however haven't gone through and tested so if you notice any missing or incorrectly placed/named or any errors in the picons, please let me know and i'll rectify it

Provided you have downloaded and ftp'd the full packs over, this should enable all picons, including the non indexed ones

[grantdavey91]

Another fixes update...hopefully the last fixes one! have double and triple checked entire sets and all should be good now.

All SNP picons are 400x170, dark on transparent background

Also updated MTV Music +1 to correct logo for LCD and SNP

All SNP logos should now sit in line with each other opposed to some leaning over to the left/right more than others when viewing the epg :
