VIX Team Vu+ Duo Image v2.0 - 09/02/2011

Try re-booting everything inc your router.

Did all that, still no joy though.
my CCcam is working(So I definitely have a live internet connection) but when I run the network test, My LAN connection passes, however my Local fails yet DHCP, IP Address and Nameserver all pass?
Yet the Link light(In network config) is greyed out?

can someone who uses mgcamd send me a copy of their mg_cfg file that goes in var/keys as for some strange reason, i have to randomly restart mgcamd from the softcam manager, maybe once or twice before it starts working again as only FTA work. before i thought it was the network so i would reboot the box and it would come back on but then i just tried the mgcamd and restarted and it came back so it seems its losing connection and i dont know why. im using 1.35a from the cams on this forum. also does anyone have anything in there newcamd.list other than the obvious line that should be in there

Just had to pop home box in yet another green screen loop ,just had to put black hole back on.

does this new image play avi files any better guys ?

Hi,

I understand that the new image doesn't reload settings as 1.3 did and you have to load new ones or use DreamEdit to save and reload yours, but what about the timers? If I save the timers files can I put them back? I have about 20 of them and it will be a pain to start from scratch.

I installed enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam.1.00.3199_1.0-r2_mipsel. ipk and it doesnt work... It doesnt want to start. I also noticed that oscam executable is located in usr/softcams. Why you changed that? It should been in usr/bin
Is this file even compatible with VIX 2.0??

I hope for some help. I need to get oscam to work because i use it as cccam client.

Also why there isnt option for swap on USB stick? Swap on HDD is kinda useless. USB is properly mounted.

Thanks for help!

And BTW, settings from OpenPLi 2.0 work ok in Vix 2.0!

If you press Menu when in VIX TV Guide you will be able to re-map buttons ;)

Nope, can only remap OK button and Info button. I want to be able to remap the red/green/yellow/blue as in Cool TV. Does any version of Cool TV work in VIX 2.0?

 Swapfile is working here on USB.

Did you format your stick using device manager?

I'm still having no joy getting any updates on my box :(
Is there a possibility anyone could post the feed address's?
Heres what I have currently,
src/gz openpli-vuduo http://www.world-of-satellite.com/plugin_feed/feeds/vuduo/2.0/vuduo
src/gz openpli-all http://www.world-of-satellite.com/plugin_feed/feeds/vuduo/2.0/all
src/gz openpli-mipsel http://www.world-of-satellite.com/plugin_feed/feeds/vuduo/2.0/mipsel

As of yet, all I get is a No New Plug Ins found message! No plug ins and no software updates :(

!

I had to change mount to /media/usb before swap worked on it. Picked my partition up automatically after that.

minor little point of interest - if you used to point to your box via nodename bm750 rather than IP address, note that this has now changed to VUDUO

This is probably a stupid question, but as I have a WinTv Nova-T USB stick kicking about doing nothing I decided to give it a try in the Vu. Drivers installed ok, tuner was recognised after a reboot and a service scan reported 102 channels found. However, I cannot figure out how to access the DVB-T channels. Do I need to set up a new bouquet or something?

i have a strange problem i have vix 1.3 on now all working good i have used the usb version of vix 2.0 and have now installed it from a usb stick np but when the image loads the screen turns pink after load its ok wile booting eg logos and so on but when the image is up and running its pink all the time i have set the right display setting as before i have noticed that i cannot change the brightness and contrast setting and that's what i think it is every thing else on the image is working fine just pink can anyone shed some light on this problem as im lost

The the DVB-T channels are found on the satellite list

you have to start new settings, but you can save via dreamedit and reload after you have flashed. thats what i did and it worked perfect

Yes, that is what I said in my post. My question was about the timers, not the settings.

Yes, use dreamboxedit, download the latest files from your box after you've scanned your channels. You should see DVB-T in one of the dropdowns on the left of the toolbar, sorry forgot exactly which one. Than just create a new bouquet to add all those channels.

Many thanks. I think I've figured out how to make them easily accessible now. What I had forgotton to do was ftp the settings back to DreamBoxEdit after doing the DVB-T service scan. Now I have done that I can see all the DVB-T channels so can set about creating a bouquet of the ones I want.
