Installing an external storage device (HDD)

Hey all, was wondering what the procedure is for installing an external FAT32 formatted HDD drive. I have an TM Nano Se M2 Plus receiver with OpenVix image. Thank you.

Shut down receiver using the menu. Connect the HDD, power on the receiver.

If the power requirements of the HDD are too much for receiver's USB circuitry, you will have issues.A power supply for the HDD will overcome such issues.

Hey there, the power adapter is an 0.3A max input and a 5V DC 1500mA output, it appears to power the HDD fine is that likely to be a problem.?

If the HDD has its own PSU, it won't be drawing power from the receiver. You will be fine.

    Why will it be FAT32?
