2.1 wont boot

Hi

i'm try to install the above image its' going through the usual process but gets stuck on "reading usb" i've tried 2 different pens same thing happens on both, i've d/l the image so many times, i have noticed though that the boot_cfe_auto.jffs2 file is zero KB is this correct.

and what is the damn problem please.

Re-download the image, maybe use a different browser.

You have removed any other usb devices first?

well as you probaly know nowadays i'm on a mac but i've still manage to install images etc no probs, i have d/l the image using Safari i'll try Firefox :thumbsup:

yes mate done it the way you said, theres' no way would i get anything wrong installing an image (only kidding btw)

nope tries all that still wont boot.

strange 'cos i've loaded the BH image on both the same pens that installed perfectly ok.

just to reiterate the installation is going through the sequence it's when it gets to the final "reading usb" that it just sits there i've left for 5 mins there's no way it should take that long ,so for the time being i've got the latest BH on there that installed no probs.

seems strange to me the only time i've had this problem in the past is when there's a corrupt file but seeing as no one else is reporting a problem then that cant be the case here.

i've tried different browsers to download the image, tried diffent pens formatted every time, removed the stick from my rear (ouch), swore at it, dont know what else to do.

Have u tried rebooting even tho it's not came up to remove?

As long as the finished writing has done, then it should have flashed fine...

Sorry a bit late. But i was going to say this happens to me everytime, but if i simply reboot the box (though it seems stuck on "reading usb") it boots up fine
