any way to auto skip commercials on recordings

Just wondered if this was possible as i use comskip in mediaportal, and also i think on my S1 TiVo had something and that was linux from years ago, as i said just wondering

You could try number jump, 3, 6 & 9.
Set one of them to about 4 mins or whatever the rough length of the ads usually is.

IIRC I have my 9 FFW and RWS set to 320 and it virtually always skips the adverts, the only exception are the sky channels like Discovery but all terrestrial and SKY own brand are OK

Thanks i have my 9 & 7 set up but nearly always need a 1 or 3 to get it perfect, as i said just wondered when other programs have it working, will live with it as is

If any of the programs you tape are on the players bbc-ITV you could always record from them as the ads are taken out.
