[VU+ Duo] Apollo23 - Buggy Network

I upgraded from Helios to Apollo 23 a few days ago. Since then my network connection has become very unstable with wired and wifi hosts suffering from packet loss.

Initially I suspected an ISP problem so spent and hour or so troubleshooting from this angle. I managed to get a stable internet connection using a PPPOE directly to the NTE device and by passing the router. Later on the ISP called back to perform some more troubleshooting and I disconnected all LAN connections including the VU and managed to successfully restore connectivity through the router. No packet loss.

As I began to plug the other devices into the network I noticed that when the VU was plugged in, packet loss began to occur again. Suspecting the home plug units I disconnected these and packet loss disappeared. I tried plugging the home plug units back in with nothing attached to them. Connection was still good. I connected a laptop to one unit and a switch to another. Connection still good. I disconnected the laptop and plugged in the Vu. Packet loss began occurring again.

The conclusion is that my Vu is doing something odd on the wired network when running Apollo 23. I'm going back to Helios for now.

I have the Apollo 21 using homeplugs and have my solo2 setup for DHCP but within the router I always allocate the same IP address to the box and don't have an issue at all.

Assuming you have now gone back to Helios do you have this problem?

Do you have this issue when using just virgin Apollo image (ie before any settings restore you may have done from Helios) and/or plugins added?
