Backup image

Hi. Using 1.3 at moment and would like to clarify how image backup works. I have made a backup which is currently stored in media/hdd. If I was to reflash how do I restore the backup. Is it just a case of flashing the base 1.3 image and then clicking restore in image manager?

Yeh thats what i do or you can put the backup on usb and flash that

This is probably not the way, but I put a new image on and than restore the backup via USB
