Hi,
Whilst I've come across a handful of posts on the subject, this doesn't seem to be an issue for anyone else, so I guess I'm missing something, as I just cannot get blindscan to work
I have a VU+ Duo2 (from the site sponsor) currently running HD Appllo.073 - flashed from USB - but I've never had Blindscan working .
If I accept all the defaults, it happily starts the scan, informs me of the progress and then comes back to advise no transponders found, even though I can programme a transponder in manually on the same satellite, search and store channels. It makes no difference which satellite I choose.
If it makes any difference am trying to use blindscan on tuner D, as that's the motorised dish lnb.
It's frustrating, as I know I have several satellites located using my signal meter - their position stored on the V-Box - but I can't trust the Duo2 to blind scan them, if it can't blind scan a satellite where I already have channels
As an aside, is there any way to search for a satellite, without knowing an active transponders details? Instead of putting a signal meter on the dish and getting someone to move it from the Duo2, whilst I stand by the dish / meter, can the Duo2 just "look for a signal" rather than having to know transponder details? (I've tried connecting my signal meter at the receiver end, rather than at the LNB, but the signal is too weak on all satellites to do any meaningful searching..)
Any ideas?
Many Thanks in advance
