I wanted to put ccam 221 on my vix image so i removed 230 now i can get any ccam in as it say already installed i only have my vu+solo 2 two weeks and i came with everything installed

Restore with a fresh image install then load the CCCam in also

Try going to plugins menu and pressing red to remove any CCCam from their first once removed restart box then FTP v221 to the tmp folder and install from the vix menu local extension install

How did you remove 2.30? and are you installing the cam with an ipk file or uploading the binary?

If the box came with 'everything installed', I'd personally do a fresh flash & start from scratch.

thanks for your advice as im very new to this box and find it a lot more difficult to handle as compared to my old spiderbox

ive just reinstalled cccam 230 as this semms to be the only cam this openvix image will except

Older versions of cccam work without issue on ViX images.
I use 2.30 all the time though.
Other versions can also be found on http://openvix.co.uk

hi its me back again. i just dont seem to be able to get cccam 230 to work on my box ive done everything im supposed to do and it says active but nothing comes on

If it's active then your CCCam plugin works it wouldn't show as active otherwise

More likely ur line which can't be discussed on these forums
