Changing from TM6900HD to Vu+Duo query

I'm at the stage of buying a Vu+ Duo to replace my TM6900HD.
The TM is, at the moment, connected to a 90cm motorised dish with a single inverto lnb, using USALS.
I want to still use both receivers, so I'll be changing the lnb to a Inverto black ultra quad.

My understanding is that to change from one to another, all I need do is, using the reciever, point to my ref sat (Thor 0.8) switch off the reciever and swap out the lnb and receiver, then switch on Vu+. Or am I completley wrong?

Yes that correct, but only one of the receivers will be able to control the motor.

Yes, I'm aware of that thanks, will just run a seperate cable to it.
So if I'm on the right track, when I power it up for the first time, I take it I should just run through the Sticky newbie guide to set it up etc?

Yes thats correct. You shouldn't really need to move the dish to Thor as its already been aligned.
