cheap live EPG

Hi, This week i noticed my epg data is showing alot of entries with the words 'cheap' 'cheap li' etc... for alot of entries.

I do not know what has gone wrong, or how to fix it. I tried to update rytec, but get the error : cannot retrieve rytec sources.


I would really appreciate any help.

Can this be moved to crossepg support?

If you only have Sky all you need to set up in the EPG menu is Sky UK Open TV under the Open TV providers tab - everything else should be unticked. For your set up you don't use rytec and it is not necessary to update rytec providers.

I have no idea why you are seeing "cheap" - can't think of any reason why that is happening.

thats correct, but it still happens. How can i go about deleting and going back to square one again? shall i delete the epg database and redownload again?

You could delete all the EPG.dat files you have. Then uninstall CrossEPG, and then reinstall it again.

If that does not work, try installing the latest image from scratch.
