[VU+ Solo2] Disable invalid remote control button press icon from displaying

I am using One for all URC 7140 universal remote control. Everything works fine except when i press a button the box pics up the button press as an invalid option and displays a flashing invalid key press icon on top right hand side of the screen.

Is there any way to disable the invalid key press icon from appearing. I am happy to modify any file if i am pointed in the right direction.
