[VU+ Duo] DVB-T USB stick

Hi experts,
I have a RTL2832 USB DVB-T stick which I have inserted in the rear USB port on my Vu+Duo. I downloaded the RTL2832 driver from the plugin browser and re-booted the machine. There is no sign of it anywhere. What am I not doing right?

it should just work so long as the drivers installed are correct. You then need to configure your new tuners.
If the tuners aren't showing, it's possible the device isn't an RTL2832 chipset, or not being recognised as one.

You might be able to find something useful in /var/log/messages to help diagnose, e.g. I can see my DVB-T usb stick here:

When downloaded from the Plugins menu, do the drivers install? Or is there another step to install them?

they install without anything else needed - but I normally reboot to be certain.
I know on my stick, the drivers were'nt what I expected according to all the searches on the net!

e.g.the drivers I needed were: IT9137 as you can see from the messages log I posted

A google search for the chipset looking for "Kworld UB499-2T" originally turned up...

Which covered 3 or 4 different driver types and wasn't so helpful.
