Hi all,

I am having a weird issue with my vu uno 4k se. I use Bouquet Maker Xtreme for 2 IPTV providers. BMX then creates 2 sources in EPG Importer (one for each IPTV). For some reason, since moving to openvix 6.7, the EPG for one of the IPTV provider does not update at all. I have this setup on 3 boxes in total (vu uno 4k se, vu zero4k, zgemma h9s), the other two boxes update fine with no issues and they are all on the same openvix version.

If I manually update the epg for the second provider it works, if I try and manually update the epg for the first provider it just hangs and does not import. Again, if I do the same process on my other two boxes both providers update as expected.

So far: I have completely removed the epg importer plugin, and re-installed. I have rebooted multiple times. I have used BMX to completely remove the IPTV provider and then re-added it and tried to re-scan using epg importer, none of these have helped.

When looking at the epg importer log, all I see is: selected source [iptv source]
sourcesDone() False None

Is there anyone who's had a similar issue in the past and know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

This plugin has been significantly changed recently, need to see a debug log….if not enabled, then menu/setup/system/logs/settings …enable, save to hdd/usb, local time, take reboot.
Then run epgimport and post debug log.

Well believe it or not the provider must be transferring a huge file as the log shows an out of memory issue.
Are you sure the url is correct?

Thats very interesting. I have the same setup on my other boxes and they dont have any issues. I thought the uno 4k se would have the biggest memory out of all the boxes I own.

Yes the URL is correct, as its the same one I used in my vu zero4k and h9s.

Obviously something weird …if it runs on the h9s it should run anywhere… need to think about it, really not sure why it should be different
I run epgimport on most of my boxes including uno4kse without issues,

however thats a lot of bouquets on that box….. are the other boxes the same?

Thanks Twol.

I had no issues with the uno 4k se until i updated to 6.7.004, i think 6.7.003 was the last version that worked fine. I made no changes to any of my boxes and only this one is getting stuck so it’s really odd.

The other boxes are exactly the same. In fact the provider thats failing only has 73 bouquets, the other provider had around 100 and that is updating fine. I only have 2 providers on all my boxes.

Hi,
I may have had the same problem you have with the provider's EPG not loading every 2 or 3 days. (the other providers epg was OK)
Try and delete the "bad" provider from Bouquet Xstream, exit BXM and reboot box. Install bad provider and select what bouquets you want, go to EPG importer and select the provider, run only the bad provider and see if the EPG loads. Good luck!

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion, I tried what you said but for some reason its still not working. When you say delete the bad provider, do you mean just delete the bouquet via BMX or do you mean delete the playlist completely from BMX?

Thanks again

Im still having this issue, is there anything else I could try?
