[VU+ Solo2] epg population problem

Hi all,

I encounter problem with populating some of the EPG data. I use Hans settings for some foreign satellites mainly dutch and german channels. I then use dreambox edit to customize my needs then load solo2.
Then i run the fantastic abm for my area. All epg data are populated fine. Every morning i run epg. First i download open tv uk only by using cross epg. Then after this i use xmltv importer to get data for rytec benelux and germany. Now only the open tv data are there and not the rytec ones. Not sure what i am doing wrong i deleted the dat file wich is stored in hdd numerous times after a telnet switch off/restart. Anybody knows ?? many thanks

Hi All,

I also have a similar problem on a VU+ Solo2, where the EPG data is not updated, instead I only see now/next listings.
The Solo2 is connected to Thor and Astra (19.2E) via 2 Twin-LNBs. The weird thing is that when I connect my second
box, a VU+ Duo to the 2nd output from these LNBs the EPG on the Duo is refreshed.
I have tried transferring the up to date "epg.dat" from the Duo to the Solo2 and restarting the latter. After that the Solo2
keeps the data, but it won't refresh it.
The Solo2 is running the latest ViX image (openvix-Apollo.115-vusolo2_usb) and I have tried various EPG settings without
any result. The box is not connected to any LAN, nor is the Duo. I'm not using Cross-EPG or anything like that.

Current settings are:
Internal flash (also tried HDD)
Auto update: yes
Refresh: every 24 h
Auto save: no (also tried yes)

Anyone with similar experiences or even better any solution to this?
