[VU+ Solo2] epg rytec virgin media sources

hi All,
Just reflashed my solo2 with image 5.3.0.27 and found that in the epg importer sources I cannot see the rytec xml file for uk or virgin media? Has this been taken out of the latest build as I think it is there in older builds?

also if this is no longer available what are the options for a working 5 or 7 day epg please?

That’s odd. Might do another install and not do a system restore/plugins and see if that brings it back. Can I manually import the file from my duo2 running 5.3.0.26?

Same here (Zgemma H9S. Image 5.3.027) epg 1.0+git219. Rytec UK channels EPG is not there. Belgium to Poland are there. Only way to get UK EPG is download epgimport_1.0-20181012. But this disappears after updating channels (IPTV or echannelizer) I have kept epgimport_1.0-20181012 in a file and send via filezilla to tmp folder and upload it.
 
well just did a brand new flash(usb) with no installation of plugins or sys restore and got the same issue but flashed image 5.3.0.26 using image manager and the xmlv for sky uk and virgin are there now.

Its the same on OpenATV has been for a few weeks need to ftp rytec.sources.xml over to etc\epgimport folder.
 
The separate entry for Virgin was removed a long time ago. There is only one for bot Sky and Virgin. It is still present for me on 5.3 027.

There was an error on the xml file on 4.4 branch because of a conflict that did not present itself when I merged 4.3 into 4.4 branch.
Doglover submitted two pull requests to the 4.4 branch that were not in 4.3 branch
Blackhole team said that the links were hammering their forum, so I corrected it in 4.3 branch. Then merged it to 4.4 branch and because of the two earlier commits, caused a problem on 4.4

If you are installing things from outside the plugin server, speak to the person who is providing the ipk.
 
Thanks guys for the information. The ipk file I used to update the box was from this site. So does the above info mean that the new image 5.3.027 doesn’t have the sky uk/ virgin xmltv file in it?

I wasn't having issues either but on testing uninstall epgimport and reinstall I can't see the Rytec uk sources either. What are the header lines? This is the contents of rytec.sources.xml

If there is something wrong with the files on GIt, please say so and we will commit the required changes or run a build. The only difference is the vu community link, it is still active.

If the files on 5.3 027 are fine, there is no need to upload files and suggest doing so. All the talk about manually adding files just confuses issues.
 
OK Just installed OpenVIX 5.3 027, still not showing sky uk/ virgin in epgimporter but the sky uk/ virgin is in rytec.sources.xml file.

The file I uploaded what was in etc/epgimport after uninstall and reinstall of epgimport and that doesn't show uk sources in epgimport plugin
 
I have just reflashed image. If you perform a update, it is fine. If you install new/reinstall plugin, there is an issue.

I stand corrected. Sorry.

I'll ask Sicilian to run a Release build

I'm running two boxes, one openvix the other openatv, will this work with openatv?
