flashing

hi everyone complete newbie here so firsty i would like to say sorry.

my technomate twin keeps losing its chanells there on the epg but when i use them there is no picture apart from fta, if i flash a new image will i have to input my cams again, because it came cam preloaded and im not sure if i want to try and flash fxp etc. not that confident.

so was wandering if i flash will i lose my cams

does anyone know how long it takes to flash a new image i put one on there and now its just saying booting and a blue screen its been about 5 mins now

Two to four minutes on average to flash a receiver, although you may have to flash the bootloader too (should be done first, then the image) seeing as it's a technomate.
