How y'all
Glenn is the name.
I just took the plunge and decided to leave my subscriptions behind and build my own system. I started by buying a Vu+Duo2 receiver today and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. I'm sure I'll have many stupid newbie questions that I hope you'll be able to help with. For now I'll keep reading and confusing myself until I get my hands on the equipment. Next up is a new dish set up but that can wait awhile

Going motorised?

I found using forums that my most often used phrase was "username" so I christened myself.
A the minute I'm getting rid of "they who should not be named" and showing herself what this beautiful box can do, this in turn will lead to motorised and god knows what else.

Going motorised opens up a whole world of channels and its a great hobby too.
Very satisfying setting it up yourself

BE WARNED, you wife WILL get VERY pissed at you when you really get into it
You will spend more time fine tuning/modding/upgrading and messing in general than actualy watching it this really gets to my misses :sofahide:
