[VU+ Solo2] How to activate HBBTV?

Hi, i just flashed the latest VIX and i love it with the HD interface. Great work from VIX. I just have a problem that i don't know how to activate HBBTV. I installed the package from the feeds and when i tune on to a channel that has the HBBTV logo then i am stuck. How do i activate the HBBTV?

Hi, Is there a plugin i need to download to get this to work on a MUT@NT HD 2400.

i had to download the HBBTV extension from the feeds and then restart the box. Then it worked for me.

HbbTV works on supported boxes on plugin install usually, YouTube TV requires an E2 restart after plugin install to show up on short blue button press.

Is it called something other than HbbTV??? lol Admittedly I'm on Apollo 077 but it's nowhere to be seen! Will upgrade now.

No its just called hbbtv. lol. Try updating to latest ViX, that should fix it buddy. :thumbsup:

The dreaded process begins. Doing it through the menus always seems to cause me grief. It takes ages and then sometimes I have to give up and do it on usb stick and start fresh. Grrrr. Also, for some reason when I do it, it seems to disable my internet and I have to unplug my ethernet from the router to get everything else working! Will let you know how I get on!

I think it is only in images for boxes where the manufacturer supports HbbTV. I do not know if Technomate offers HbbTV. VU/XTrend and a few others do.

The only way you are going to get the HbbTV plugin for technomate hardware is to install the 4D image as they have a version there, we can only provide the HbbTV plugin in ViX where the manufacturer has provided us with a version as the Vu+ version is licensed by them for only their hardware. Also if you are on Apollo build 077 as the above post suggests you must reflash the receiver, a online update to the newest builds wont work.
