[VU+ Solo2] How to remove this from EPG

Could anyone advise how can I remove the bit highlighted in red from the EPG? It wasn't present in earlier versions of VIX.

That is not the EPG, but the channel list. This info has been added quite some time ago to make it possible to distinguish between several kinds of transmissions.
You can use an other skin, or create a skin_user.xml. Or only read what you want to read.

AFAIK you cannot remove the frequency details. It would be good to be configurable though. Yes you are right, it was not there before. It came about as a byproduct of an unfulfilled request to have orbital position shown in the channel history.

You should also note, that your picture is the list of channels/services, not EPG.

OK, seems there isn't much I can do. Hopefully an option to disable it will be there in the future.

Apart from coding the On/Off-setting, that would also require some (for me) unknown code to release the space and give it to the channel list.
