To help our customers and members that have purchased a GiGaBlue HD800UE from us since 31/08/12 we thought we would post this USB flashing/upgrade guide.

All units purchased from us since 31st August 2012 ALL have the very lastest bootloader pre-flashed, there is no need to re-flash the bootloader unless a newer bootloader is released by GiGaBlue.

If purchased before 31/08/12 you will need to update to the latest bootloader HERE dated 31/08/12.

1) We recommend formating your USB stick FAT32 using HP USB stick formatting tool HERE
2) Power off your receiver.
3) Extract the zip file and copy cfe.bin and burn.bat to root of your USB stick.
4) Connect to REAR USB port when flashing bootloader.
5) Power on receiver, the bootloader will then commence flashing, the LED around front panel standby button will change colours.
6) Wait for the receiver to reboot automatically. Do not power off.

How to USB Flash/Upgrade

1) We recommend formating your USB stick FAT32 using HP USB stick formatting tool HERE
2) Power off your receiver.
3) Download and extract your chosen image.
4) Extract the image and copy the complete GiGaBlue folder to root of your USB stick. So you will have a file stucture of Gigablue > UE > Flashfiles.
5) Connect to USB port.
6) Power on.
7) LCD will display a message saying Image found and to press ok, as soon as this apprears press OK behind front flap.
8) Wait for image to flash and the receiver to fully reboot. Do not power off.

PLEASE NOTE OLDER IMAGES THAT ARE NOT BUILT IN A SINGLE GIGABLUE FOLDER MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH LATEST BOOTLOADER.
