Is there an easy way to insert a YouTube live stream into bouquets. I know there is the YouTube extension but ideally I'd like to stick a couple of the live NASA channels into the bouquets list for faster access and zapping away after viewing without having to load the plugin and go through the search process.

I have made a feature request on the plugin page, just asking if anyone knows another way.

Not easy....use can use yt-dlp plugin but it requires changes to playService and also installation of several JS components like Node.Js which is heavy component....

You add to the bouquet:

And you watch from the channel list.
