Kerni-HD1R2blackmod Vu + for solo, duo and Uno!

Tested this Kerni on my VU+ Duo and now my VU stops in the boot sequence.
Is this skin meant to be used in VU+DUO and together with latest VIX image??

To answer your question, not all skins are compatible with all images.

As the receiver is booting, FTP to /usr/share/enigma2/ delete the kerni skin and reboot. Then select a new skin. If that dont work you will need to re-flash.

Sic Had the same issue what you suggested works and VIX defaults to VIXHD skin

Hi Sicilian, having same issue but do not have anything in tmp/share/ folder so trying to reboot from usb back-up. Just got a blank screen and nothing happening so wondering is there a command i can send to reinstate the image from a back-up on the hdd I've got?

Its not in tmp/share its in usr/share/enigma2

My fault, posted wrong details but same problem, no files or folders in the usr/share/ directory at all. When I turn on my Vu+ all I get is the words 'Vu+ Duo' in the box screen and nothing on my tv screen and nothings happened now for 30 mins or so

i was going to try this, as i like the kerniHD1R2 skin, im glad i didnt now

it's always wise to make a quick usb backup before playing with new skins for this very reason. with VIX 2.2 you can be back up and running with a fully configured backup exactly as you want it within 5 minutes.

I installed and had the same problem i searched for the file using filezilla i deleted the file folder and it when back to the default skin

Hopefully this Kerni "updated version" vill end up in the plugin/skin section for downloads after it has been fully tested.
