LCD brightness after upgrade to 043

After I upgraded to Apollo 043 yesterday, I can no longer dim the LCD display, it is always on full brightness, but in the settings it is set on 0 (no display on standby). The ON brightness also doesn't work.

As I have the receiver in bedroom, this is quite annoying. Is this VIX image problem? As it worked on the old image I had (I think it was 028), I can not be driver problem, can it?

yes its driver problem, its been discussed before.

GB ARE AWARE. I also have a Quad in a bedroom but I've left it on 26 until GB fix.

Just put it in to deepstandby that's what I do.

Also have an autotimer set to go into deep standby after 15 minutes to cover any time it comes on to record and goes into standby once done.

Silly question but how do I put machine in deep standby? Is this hibernation like on PC?
