NANO 2t keeps freezing

Hi, my tm nano 2t box freezes at least once a day( usually when the kids are watching!!)..rebooting it usually does the trick.
Sometimes it seems to freeze also if i change between a few channels quickly.
another problem i notice from time to time is when i leave it alone for a few hours and turn on the tv
i cant get menu, volume or anything else up on the tv but i can try and select a channel searching on screen of the box..a reboot usually solves this but nonetheless very annoying.
could it be my wifi connection or something else?
