[VU+ Solo2] Network conflicting

Hi

I'm having a strange problem with the network on my vu solo 2 and gigablue 800ue.

Gigablue works fine if the solo 2 Ethernet cable is unplugged from my modem, when both receivers are plugged in at the same time to the modem the gigablue cant pick up a ip address but the solo 2 is still ok!?

The ip address of each receiver are different so shouldn't be conflicting, also using a virgin media super hub.

Both receivers are on Apollo 041 with a fresh install.

Any help would be appreciated

Are you reserving any IP addresses on router? Are both receivers using dhcp?

Not reserving any ip addresses, both receivers are using dhcp but also tried setting each receivers ip manually by turning it off but with no luck.

Now its the other way around, gigablue is working but solo 2 cant pickup a ip address

DHCP range big enough? How do I check that?

I'm assuming there are my, gigablue is currently 192.168.0.43 and solo 2 is 192.168.0.6 so not sure why one is disconnecting the other.

There is a dhcp settings page in the superhub settings page. Deafult is up to 254 though.

Might be an idea to switch off router and all network devices. Then start them one by one.

Have both boxs got Mac adresses set & different?
Menu -> Information -> Network: MAC

When both are getting an ip address, dhcp range is ok.
Check if both have the same gateway number.
When you want to give them a static ip number, take a high number, like 192.168.0.200
