Hi,

at my Solo2 I have only one satellite cable. It is connected to Tuner B. Configuration Tuner A: connected to tuner B. In settings: preffered Tuner: Tuner A.

Since the new kernel/new drivers after a restart or after deep standby is apparently always on Tuner A only a normal/full signal, if previously switched at least once on Tuner B. Because of my settings (preferred Tuner: Tuner A) after each start of the box there is only a very weak or even no signal at Tuner A. When I choice Tuner B , there is immediately 100% signal. This 100% signal stays than also, after change back to Tuner A.

With old kernel/old drivers this problem does not occur.

Any idea, if this is a image or a driver bug?

Regards

Hi mate

The config for solo2 should be main tuner B with loop from A into B

This fooled me because on my duo my main tuner is A with B loop via A the reverse double check your setup again and reverse making sure also your cable is connected to the right lnb connection

The Solo2 indeed only supports a loopthrough from tuner B to tuner A. But snoopy2013 has that configured as such, so that should be fine.
Setting a looped-throug tuner as preferred tuner doesn't make any sense to me. I would leave that to 'Auto', and same for preferred recording tuner. What do you want to gain with any other setting?

Now you can't use the satfinder for checking the signal on tuner A, as that isn't supported for a looped through tuner. But what you can do, is zap to a service on vertical-low, and start a recording. This will occupy tuner B. Now zap to any service on another transponder (this will then use tuner A) and see how the signal is (probably in second infobar, depending on the skin used).
You can repeat these steps for verital-high, horizontol-low and horizontal-hight services.

Hi,

the setting "preffered Tuner A" i had done because of optical reasons (Symbol Tuner B in Skin infobar looks like it is something missing between) ...

Now I have change place symbol Tuner B with Tuner A in skin_user.xml and done setting "Tuner = auto".

So all woks fine and looks also "good" ... ;)

Thank`s at all for help.

Regards
