Octagon SX988 V2 Enigma 2 won't load

Hi l am looking for some help to see if my box problem can be resolved with a self inflicted problem

I was trying to resolve a problem on the box and tried to load the "openvix-6.8.006.release-sx88v2_recovery_emmc" via a usb but the USB had other images on and now the release wount start to recover at all. It just has a "pink bar" on the top of the box

Can this be recoved or is be box now unrecoverable

I appreciate all information to progress

Power on and hold down OK button on the remote. When UPDT appear on screen release the OK button and wait for the recovery menu.

Once in the recovery menu go to Network Multiboot image upgrade. Flash OpenViX into a slot

I reformated the usb and loaded the "openvix-6.8.006.release-sx88v2_recovery_emmc.zip" files onto the usb unziped

However this didnot resolve my problem
Looks likke l will have to order a Octagon SX988 which looks like a replacement for the Octagon SX88 V2

No - you should be able to go into recovery mode as explained above, download from the internet an updated image and flash anew - ignore the usb.

Once again TWOL l appreciate your help but not sure as the box is not showing any signs other than a pink led bright on the top. i have a usb which indicates it bening accessed / reading but nothig appears on the screen

initally i did see the recovery screen and from menory i thought i was installing the image but all all i got was a pink led showing on top of the box
All of that was prior to looking for help as l thoght this was due to the usb having two images (Octagon sf8008 and technomate TM twin4k ) related to other boxes and potently stoping the recovery process

you are loading an image that does not works on the box.Only the right image should be on the usb directly unzipped to it from PC.
Maybe change titel also because confusion now

I concluded by replacing the box with a new purchase
