Hello,

when im trying to run

opkg update

and than

opkg upgrade

im getting message

should i reflash my receiver or this is what i should do not worry about? Im geek and i want to be with last updates so thats why im asking :)

Also where is the most correct place where to put some custom startup commands ? Could not find something similar to rc.local

  • You write a script which takes "start" and stop "options".
  • Put it into /etc/init.d - make it executable!!
  • symlink it into the relevant /etc/rc<v>.d directory (so /etc/rc3.d) as S<nn>xyzzy.
  • If you also want the service to be shutdown cleanly then symlink the script as K.... as well (probably a different <nn>)
  • The <nn> determines when it gets started/stopped.
