Picture in picture skipping

PiP for me just skips along missing loads of frames, surely this isnt normal?
any ideas wats goin on?

think this is correct as you are really only viewing snapshots of the PIP channel?
would be great to use second tuner (if not busy) or same tuner of CH if on same transponder though to keep it live.
Sure someone else will jump in with more info.

it would be a fantastic feature if it ran smoothly

from what i remember, the internals of the box do not allow pip processing because of hardware limitations... hence, why they've made it use still pictures for pip... better than nothing. it'd either be this, or no pip at all
