[VU+ Solo4K] pretty pi**ed with my new solo4k

it took me a long time but with a good bit of help i got my solo4k working with bbc satback. it was very difficult for me..
but after i am using it since july yesterday bbc one and two started freezing stuttering..then today started again on channel 5 as well then today just died came up with someing about can't write something like the moron i am i didn't note what it said as i thought quick resart and off we go...no chance . will not clear bbc etc. tried loading a backup of the image exactlly the same no bbc.tested cable on my old solo2 all good....

just tried scanning 30w on the other tuner nothing at all cannot find a channel..
dont know where to from here
both cables from sat's 30w and 27.5w taken from working box so i know they are fine

i have just tested the 30w cable with my sat meter great signal SNR 90. AGC;80..
now when i put cable iinto solo4k i get shit .... SNR:68..and AGC: 39. And now when i finally get it to scan it gets no tv channels only about 10 radio channels..???

i have just loaded latest img for it and agin everthing is the same finds no channels only a few radio channels..

on the 27.5w cable taken from a working box it finds nothing at all......................
with other cable for bbc it finds nothing at all even though i have just maybe i am doing some thing wrong but can't see how new image pretty simple ..

I am begining to think i was sold a pup on ebay.....

I would ask if your doing a full scan on that sat OR a set transponder setting.

I would also ask if sat dish is fixed or motorised and if controlling movement are your settings the same in both boxes.

You mention 2 sats in your posts above ? which one are you using?

i am doing full manual scan on both sat's 27.5w and 30.0w which i also use on another box..solo 2 i have fixed dishes 27.5w 30.0w. and 28.2e.

If you are using Softcam script and oscam-latest put them in /var/tuxbox/config/oscam-latest

the script for softcams installed from the feeds is basically the same.....the difference will be in the oscam config and Yes they can be merged into one config.

Thanks TWOL I eventually plucked up courage and combined them both in the server file and all good worked big suprise LOL
